In early 2021, Broadhseet partnered up with Dan Murphy's on a content series that showcased gin producers across Australia. Southern Wild Distillery, in Tasmania’s north west, produces-award winning Dasher + Fisher gins (their Mountain Gin is one of my favourite Tassie gins). Distillery owner Grant Hirst and head distiller George Burgess realised they could leverage locally produced ingredients such as saffron, wakame and native pepperberries, and combine it with their passion for distilling to create a range of gins that would reflect the surrounding region.
