— Waverley Mills Recycled.
Waverley Mills established in 1874 is Australia’s oldest continuously working woollen mill. Waverley Mills has produced pure new wool and recycled textile products for over 145 years, turning raw fibre and waste into finished textile products.
The Mill, which has sustainability as a core value, is committed to the environment and to the communities in which it operates. It ensures responsible corporate behaviour at every stage of production: from sourcing wool and fibre consumption; to design, the finished products, and distribution.
The Recycled Range is created from woollen offcuts, blanket ends and other unused fibres that pass through the mill. This allows Waverley Mills to close the loop with their own waste, and through innovation, use other waste streams such as post-use denim, towels and other textiles.
